Blueberry-Pomegranate Smoothie

We hope if your resolution was to stay healthy and eat better, you're still on track! If you've strayed a little, let's help you get back on board with your 2013 resolution with our blueberry-pomegranate smoothie!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened pomegranate juice
  • 2 Tbsp. flax meal
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup ice
Directions:
  1. Blend berries, juice, flax meal and honey in a blender until smooth.
  2. Add yogurt and ice; blend until smooth.

Help Us Design Our Summer Tee Shirt!

If you've been into the office lately, you've probably seen our newest office decorations! We've started to display artwork around the office to encourage you to design our NEW OFFICE TEE SHIRT!

 

That's right- if you submit a design, and it's selected as our winner, you can add "Tee shirt designer" to your resume!

The contest runs now through Thursday, April 2nd. So get drawing, and we look forward to seeing how creative we know you all are! To submit, either drop them off in the office or email them to info@meehanorthodontics.com !

Mango-Peach Smoothie!

It's still winter technically, but we're so excited for spring and summer we thought we'd give you something a little tropical to cure those winter blues!

Ingredients: 

  • 1 1/2 cups soy milk
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen peaches
  • 1 cup frozen chopped mango
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup ice
Directions: 
  1. Pulse soy milk, peaches, mango, honey and vanilla in a blender until combined.
  2. Add ice and blend until smooth.

Berry Banana Smoothie!

Enjoy the last week of January while you sip on this TASTY smoothie! Try it out, and let us know if you liked it at your next appointment!

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  •  2 large, very ripe bananas, peeled and frozen
  •  1 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries or rasberries or a combination
  •  2 Tbsp. honey
  •  1 cup ice
Directions: 
  1. Pulse oats in a blender several times to grind.
  2. Add juice, bananas, berries, honey and ice.
  3. Blend until smooth.
